first_img Facebook Facebook Pinterest Google+ 75 positive cases of Covid confirmed in North Update – PSNI name man who died after Derry altercation Gardai continue to investigate Kilmacrennan fire Google+ Police in Derry have named the 24 year old man who died following an assault in the Waterside last night as Gerard Quinn.The incident happened in the Milldale Crescent area of Derry, at around 10.30 last night.He was taken to nearby Altnagelvin Hospital, but died a short time later.A second 24-year-old man also received head injuries in the incident, which are not believed to be life threatening.A 16-year-old youth has been arrested and remains in police custody.Police have renewed their appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
