first_imgJune 18, 2018 /Sports News – Local USU Men’s Tennis’ Recruiting Class Currently Ranked #10 among Mid-Majors FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailLOGAN, Utah-Per a report Monday, Utah State’s men’s tennis is excelling on the recruiting trail as the Aggies’ present class is ranked #10 among mid-majors, per’s mid-major poll.The Central Florida Knights are presently first in the polls, with the South Florida Bulls checking in at second.Middle Tennessee is third, while ASA (Miami), a junior college, is in fourth place. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane is ranked fifth with the UNC Wilmington Seahawks checking in with the sixth best class outside of Power 5 conferences.The Georgia State Panthers are 7th with the Georgia Southern Eagles checking in with the eighth best class and the Portland Pilots are ranked #9 in the class overall.The BYU Cougars’ recruiting class is currently considered #15 overall in the standings.Among the Aggies’ star recruits thus far are Isaac Arturo Arevalo of Mazatlan, Mexico (#2 among all juniors in Mexico), Udayan Bhakar of Bikaner, India, Mitchell Johnson of Englewood, Colo. and Daniel Bushamuka of Princeton, N.J. Additionally, Rithvik Bollipalli of Hyderabad, India has joined the roster, while he and Bhakar are the 1st and 2nd ranked juniors, respectively, in India.Last week, the Aggies added Seward County C.C. (Kan.) NJCAA All-American Duro Opacic, a Serbian national, who carried a 19-2 record on the season for the Saints.
