According to the source, there are up to seven charters that specialise in whale watching in Hervey Bay that guarantee spectators will see at least one whale as well as bottlenose dolphins, turtles and dugongs. While tourism has not experienced growth this year in the area, Hervey Bay has a two decade history with whale watching that has boosted the city’s tourism profile.
